Chandigarh, February 11: Hooda Government has behaving like Henry eight, said Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Secretary General Ajay Singh Chautala, while addressing various public meetings at Panchkula during the ongoing Jan Aakrosh Padyatra.
Mr Chautala said that sometimes ago in a case on the appointment of Dr V.S. Pahil as Director of Haryana Seeds Certification Agency, Punjab & Haryana High Court had said that nobody can be allowed to become Henry Eight. Similarly, in many other cases, freebies have been distributed to its near and dear ones, ignoring the rightful people, he added.
INLD-BJP Government would provide free education to all the poor, Mr Chautala said. Unemployment fund of Rs 1,000 per month will be provided to all the unemployed youths of the state besides Rs 700 as old age pension.
Land scams, deteriorating law & order situation, injustice meted out to employees and all-round failure of Hooda Government would be main election issues of INLD-BJP in coming Lok Sabha elections, he added.
Mr Chautala said that public account of the government will be taken for fake encounters by Haryana Police, breach of trust with youth of the state, nepotism in government jobs, persistent corruption. He said that repeated adverse comments and interim order by Punjab & Haryana High Court has now exposed the government’s corruption. Land scams worth billions of rupees have been exposed and the people of the state have realized that Hooda led government is the most corrupt and incompetent government of the state, he added.
INLD MP said that the people are cursing the Congress party as its government is working on the principal of ‘loot and lie’ with no electricity or any progress at the ground level. The poor farmers are being pressurized into selling their invaluable lands at peanuts to its favoured people as the government is just focused on how to earn maximum ill money with no concern for any morality, he added.
INLD secretary general, who has been leading NDAs 662 km long ‘Jan Aakrosh Padyatra’ for the last 29 days, said that there was no development in the state as all the money meant for development is being siphoned to ruling party leaders and government functionaries.
Commenting on the government’s assertion in the Vidhan Sabha regarding the ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’, Mr Chautala dared the Congress leaders to get out of their cosy offices and posh Chandigarh Kothis and reach out to public to learn about the public anger against the Hooda led government.
Referring to the partial implementation of sixth pay commission report by state government, Mr Chautala said that INLD-BJP government led by Om Parkash Chautala would rectify all the pay anomalies and restore all the due benefits to all employees of the state.
Former BJP MP Rattan Lal Kataria, Gian Chand Gupta, Pradeep Chaudhary, S.P. Arora, Banto Kataria, INSO state president Vikas Rathee, Col. Mangal Singh were also present on the occasion.
