Chandigarh, Nov 8 :"Indian Banking system is very strong and Reserve Bank of India is one of the best central bank of the world. Global Meltdown is a cyclical phenomenon and would things of past in next few months but Indians should not lose faith in our economy. We should not become bullish when market is bullish and we should not become bearish when market is bearish. He also pointed at FIIs which led to Stock Market crash."
This was stated by Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal , Minister of State for Finance and Parliamentary Affairs, at A National level seminar on the topic "Global Meltdown and India: Causes and Effects" held at PHD Chamber organized by Chandigarh based Aryans Business School(ABS). Mr. Rajiv Goyal , MD, Surya Pharmaceuticals Ltd. was the guest of honour. Mr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Institutes(AGOI) presided over the seminar.

Prof. B.S.Ghuman said that the banks have to strike a balance between the monetary and fiscal policy which would help in the equity considerations. Prof. B.B.Tandon related the cause of financial crisis to transformation of US and global finance.
