Barinder Saluja, Chandigarh, Dec. 03 : PG Govt. College for Girls, Sector-42, Chandigarh organized unique interface discussion with persons affected with HIV-AIDS . On the occasion six bicycles were donated to HIV affected persons hailed form “RoopNager Network Of HIV-Postive” . These affected persons are under treatment at PGI, Chandigarh. At present these are working in Ambuja Paper Recycling Unit , Anadpur Sahib. Principal Mrs. Mani Bedi highlighted the rights of the HIV persons. Mrs Bedi said such session would go a long way in awareness programme pertaining to AIDS. During the interactive session with the faculty members these persons shared their experiences and difficulties . They expressed that they had to incur much expenditure in autos for reaching their work place . They felt that they were happy to get the cycles which will save much of their money, time and labor. The donation money was collected by the faculty members of the college ..Mr Gaurav Gaur Commonwealth Youth Ambassador also spoke on the occasion .
