St. Xavier’s School, Chandigarh rocked with music and dance on the occasion of their Founder’s Day. The students and teachers set the stage on fire with their exuberant performances. The young tinytots of Nursery and K.G .danced on the beats of the Ten Guitars. Classes I, II & III taught us a lesson on ‘give love and get love’ with their choreography.
Classes IV, V wanted us to conserve our planet as it is being plundered through their elocution on conservation. The students of Class VI, VIII & VIII transported the audience to Rajasthan and evoked the desert in all its moods.
The roar of the sea crashing on the golden beaches, the cry of seagulls and the gentle murmur of the Rivers of Goa could be felt in the Goan dancers swaying like Fronds and salsaing like dolphins in the water.Class XI and XII brought forward the enigma and charm of India through their dances of different states. The Hindi & English chores wished the Chairman the “Happy Birthday” and spoke about the motto of the school ’Live for Others’
The teachers did not lag behind as they presented a surprise parody and made the audience fall off their seats with laughter by their performance.
The Chairman Mr. Andrew J. Gosain thanked the staff and the students for taking out time and going beyond their comfort zone to produce such wonderful performances. The Principal Mr. Mervin West lauded the teachers and students and parents for their efforts and innovations and for making this event a Grand Success.
