CHANDIGARH, JUNE 13 : As many as eight academies have been accommodated to stake their claims for top honours in the Under-15 Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament for Ind-Swift Trophy, being organised by Desh Prem Azad Cricket Academy from June 16.Director of DPAC Academy, Dronacharya Desh Prem Azad said that eight teams have been divided into two pools.
DP Azad Cricket Academy, MCM Blue Caps, Sector 36, Stepping Stones, Sector 37 and DAV Senior Secondary School Academy, Sector 8 have been placed in Pool A.
The Pool B will consist of Mohali Cricket Academy, Shree Shree Academy, Panchkula, AJP Academy, Kharat and Satluj School Academy, Panchkula.
Two top teams from each pool will qualify for semi-finals. The pool league matches will conclude on June 20,
The league matches will be played at the MCM DAV College ground in Sector 36 and St Stephen’s School ground in Sector 45 from 7 a.m. It will be of 40-over each side matches and qualified officials, including umpires, of Punjab Cricket Association, will be deputed to technically conduct the matches. Refreshment will be served to all participants.
