Chandigarh: Kirron Kher , Member of Parliament today listened to problems of residents of city ather office in sector-8. Office bearers of various associations also met Smt.Kher and submitted memorandum regarding their problems. She gave a personal hearing to every personand patiently listened to their problems and assured them that it will be takenup with concerned department of UT administration or concerned Ministry at Centre.
Brigadier HPSingh of Command Hospital, Chandimandir demanded Rs. 7 lakh from MPLAD fund forthe development work of Hospital. Office bearers of Defence Brotherhood led byits president Wing Commander Arvind Kumar requested Smt. Kher to pursue onerank one pension with the Government. Ex-servicemen living in tricity have formed this association. Councilor Satish Kainth led thedelegation of residents of Tribune colony and requested Smt. Kher to solve theproblems of Colony. Deputy Director of ICSSR Regional Centre, Panjab University,Dr.PK Saini said that the employees of Regional centre have not got new payscales and the matter is pending with MHRD. She assured him that the matter will be taken up with MHRD.

Mr.Ravinder Kumar requested to increase the honorarium given to artists. Mr. MPSChawla highlighted the problems of industrialists and raised some issuesrelated to new industrial policy. Office bearers of Chandigarh Industrial AreaTenant Association said that new industrial policy has not given accommodated theirdemand and it should be ensured that their interests are kept in mind duringauctioning of vacant plots in industrial area.
