S.P.Pandey, Chandigarh, Mar 13 : BSP leader and party candidate for Lok Sabha election Mr Harmohan Dhawan has promised to start a mobile kerosene van for doorstep delivery of kerosene in colonies once he get elected to the new Lok Sabha. He will talking to an agitating group of colony dwellers who complained of sudden cut in kerosene quota from 20 litre to 15 litre per family.
Counsellor Mr Ram Sumer Maurya and BSP Ward 13 president Mr Ram Sanjeevan Mishra announced here today to burn an effigy of the sitting MP and Minister of State for Finance Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal in Colony No. 5 at Labour Chowk at 5 PM on Saturday, March 14.
People from various colonies criticized Chandigarh Administration and Congress rule for anti-poor policies. BSP workers have warned of visiting all the colonies to intensify their agitation over drastic cut in kerosene quota. People complained that they often loose their day’s work as they have to stand in long queue to get their share of kerosene at sector 22 and 45 depots.
The agitating BSP workers shouted a slogan “Ab Chalega BSP ka haathi, Udegi dhool, na rahega haath, na rahega phool.”
