Chandigarh, Mar 16 : The BSP candidate for Lok Sabha and former Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr Dhawan today addressed a public meeting at Manimajra.Mr Dhawan claimed that Bahujan Samaj Party was the only political organization which fights for the cause of poor and downtrodden. BSP always stands for the rights of the poor and Dalits.
He was addressing a huge public meeting, attended by local population, at a ground near the Old Committee Office NAC. Local BSP leaders Mr Ranjeet Rana, president, ward no. 25, and Mr Sukhpal were also present on the occasion.
The BSP leader criticized Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal of not doing any remarkable work during his last 15 years of tenure. Neither Mr Bansal, nor Mr Satyapal Jain could bring even a single big project to City. On the other hand, he humbly said, “I gave whatever I had promised to the people of this city. Owing to my efforts, then Prime Minister Mr Chandra Shekhar gifted four big projects to this city during his four visits in just four months. These projects included Government Medical College & Hospital, sector 32; Kajoli Water Works, sector 39; provision of land to the housing societies in sector 48 to 51; and rehabilitation of poor people in Moli Jagran, to name a few.”
