Chandigarh : British Council Library today organised workshop on “Success – A Habit or a challenge” for students. This workshop made participants aware of the existing and the future of corporate culture and how can they develop themselves to be the right fit. These practices, if followed, will not only prepare them to be ready for the corporate world but also help them fast track their Career growth. In this workshop we incorporate activities, Audio-Visuals so as to give the participants a hands-on-approach. There were 30 participants who attended this workshop.
Preeti Raina and Jagatjit Sodhi was the resource person for this workshop. Preeti Raina is a Soft Skills Training & a HR Consultant who is committed to enhance not only the productivity but also the overall quality of life of her trainees. Preeti spent a number of years in the fields of marketing, merchandizing, and systems management before earning a post graduate degree in Human Resource Management, and pursuing HR as her calling. She has over 14 years of work experience in the areas of Training and Development, HR, Customer Service and Hospitality.
Jagatjit Sodhi is a Senior Consultant in Soft Skills training; an Innovative & highly motivated results-focused professional. Besides conducting Competent Based Experiential Trainings for various organisations & educational institutions also conduct Process trainings for Mercedes-Benz & Toyota with a single focus of developing people.
British Council Library also announced the re-opening of library membership from Wednesday, 7 December 2011 at 10:00AM. While announcing this Bipin Kumar, Manager said that there are a total of 1000 seats, out of which 200 Platinum/Family membership, 300 Diamond/DVD movie membership and 500 Gold/personal memberships. The membership will be strictly on first come first served basis. The membership is valid for one year.
