CHANDIGARH, APRIL 10: Member Parliament from Bathinda Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that no one was above the law and whosoever has committed crime will be punished by Court.
Welcoming the reopening of case against Congress Sewa Dal Chief Mr. Jagdish Tytler by Karkardooma Court of Delhi rejecting the closure report filed by Central Bureau of Investigation, Mrs. Badal said that Congress should learn a lesson from today’s Judgment and should not work hand in glove with the top investigation agency of country CBI to protect the architects of ’84 Sikh genocide.
Mrs. Badal said that findings of Karkardooma Court in three decade long struggle of Sikhs for justice has further strengthened the faith of the countrymen in judicial system and whosoever has committed anything criminal will have to punished accordingly and no party can save Them.
Accusing the Congress Party for awarding Tytler and Mr. Sajjan Kumar with posts in party rank and file, Mrs. Badal said that the Shiromani Akali Dal and Sikhs would fight in unity to get justice in 1984 Sikh Genocide. She also welcomed the verdict of Supreme Court upholding the life term for 4 accused of 1984 Sikh riots.
