Barinder Saluja, Chandigarh,April 9 : There may be lots of ways to show one’s revolt to condemn an evil of the society. Some choose fast on to death ; some choose taking out candle light march ; some this and some that. But today, on 8th April, 2011, Department of Laws, Panjab University Chandigarh chose a unique way to express their feelings to fight against corruption by organizing a Blood donation camp in association of Bharat Vikas Parishad. A small group of students, teaching and non teaching staff of the university came forward to donate blood to strengthen the movement against corruption. The camp was managed by team from the PGI, Sector 12 Chandigarh and was inaugurated by Prof Naval Kishore, Dean Students Welfare, PU. and was presided by Dr. Tankeshwar Kumar, President, Bharat Vikas Parishad North-III. Sixty units of blood were donated said Mr. Rakesh Mohindra, coordinator of the camp. This was part of series of such events being organized and supported by Bharat Vikas Parishad to serve for the human cause.
