Chandigarh 3rd January, 10 : Around 3500 students appeared in Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) today in Chandigarh. The test was conducted in various centers including Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, DAV Sector 10, Army Public School, Chandimandir etc. Aryans Business School (ABS) today distributed 3500 free examination kits to the aspirants. The examination kits comprised of pencils, eraser, sharpener and sweets. ABS has been providing necessary stationery items and conveys best wishes to the exam aspirants since last three years.
Giving more info on XAT, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS, Non IIM Member of CAT group said Most of the students found XAT tougher than last online CAT. It was very lengthy and time consuming. There were total 101 questions. Section I was having 41 questions while section II and III were having thirty questions each. Logical and analytical reasoning was very difficult; on the other hand English section was comparatively easy.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS, also added that for more than 50 years XLRI is conducting Admission Test on all India level to select students for MBA/PGDM programme. He said that there are more than 60 Management Institutes who are selecting students from XAT. Dr. Kataria added that XAT is popular exam like CAT and MAT for MBA admission in all over the country.
