7 Apr,Nitish Saxena,UILS, PU : Amidst a feast of musical and dance performances, the University Institute of Legal Studies gave a very warm farewell to its second outgoing batch today in the Law Auditorium. The function started with the ceremonial lightning of the lamp by the founder Director Prof. R.S.Garewal and the director, Prof. Sangeeta Bhalla of UILS.
The students charged up with emotions and fuelled by memories staged memorable performances on the occasion. The highlight of the function was ramp walk presented by the students of the outgoing batch. The entire evening was woven around the theme “Be kind & rewind”. The theme was meant to rewind the memories to the golden decades of 60s, 70s, and 80s. The theme was locally merged with the decoration, musical titles, compeering script and on stage costumes. The students were felicitated with ingenuous titles which included Mr. UILS and Ms. UILS being given to Mr. Arastu Chopra and Ms. Chitrangada Singh respectively.
The evening concluded with a message full of good wishes and blessings from Prof. Sangeeta Bhalla, Director of the institute.
