Report by Sandeep Juneja ,21 Oct : Taking further the Anti-Cracker movement and collecting views of thousands around, we reached Hostel of Lawn tennis players in sector 10, Chandigarh. The kids who are away from their parents and nostalgic, how do they feel about crackers. We took their views and everyone was happy to provide some facts and views in written.Samridhi Lodha, a fantastic lawn tennis player from Bhilwara, Rajasthan feels that kids mostly wish to play with crackers. They don’t know the pros and cons of crackers and that’s why they spend a lot of their parents money on crackers. If someone teaches them the hazards of crackers, I hope no one would buy crackers from next on.

Just 14 year-old winner of Gold medal in AITA championship series Kamal Kishor Madarena said its pathetic that people cause non-sense on roads. Some miscreant youngsters break their barriers and burst crackers on roads which cause problem to traffic as well.
Another awesome lawn tennis player Mariyam Raidha, aged 15, told us that as compared to India with Maldives, Maldives is much greener and cleaner, because Govt. has taken anti-cracker steps. She said that no one is allowed to burst crackers in Maldives and hence its comparatively clean on this festival.
Hostel warden Ms. Anju Singh who belongs to defence family said after her husband returned from Kargil, crackers were banned in her home.. And, her daughter herself has said no to crackers not under any influence but taking a strong step, learning from her family. Ms. Anju Singh being a very cherished lady and a strict warden had always adviced her kids in hostel not to play with fire and crackers on this festivity.
