Chandigarh, December 9:- The third day of the 4th TFT Winter National Theatre Fest 2008 showcased a beautiful play "Tritiya Yuddha" by Probir Guha of Alternative Living Theatre, Kolkatta. UT Home Secretary, Mr. Ram Niwas was the chief guest on the occasion. Home Secretary, Haryana, Mr. Krishna Mohan was also present to witness the play.
It was the 248th presentation of Tritiya Yuddha. Mr. Probir Guha has more than 60 plays to his credit and thousands of national and international presentations. Mr. Niwas honored Mr. Guha for his outstanding and prominent participation in the field of theatre.
The Theatre Festival has been organized by Theatre for Theatre in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations, Haryana, NZCC, Patiala and Chandigarh Administration in Tagore Theatre, Sector 18.
The seven day Theatre Fest started on December 7 and has showcased three plays including Antaryatra by Usha Ganguly, Rangkarmee, Kolkatta; Wrong Number by Pali Bhupinder, Off Stage, Group, Moga and Tritiya Yuddha. The days to follow would present plays including Amma, Addhi Raat ke Baad, Rishte and Chaarpai.
