Chandigarh 10thSeptember; The PGI Employees Union (Non Faculty) organized a blood donation camp today to celebrate the 150 blood donations of Ashwani Kumar Munjal, President of PGI Employees Union (Non-Faculty), General Secretary, PGI Medical Technologists Association and Chairman of PGI Contract Workers Union under aegis of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Chandigarh and with support and cooperation of PGI Medical Technologists Association, PGI Engineers Association, PGI Security Guard Union, PGI Contract Workers Union, PGI Contract Safai Karamchari Union, PGI Medical Laboratory Attendants Association, PGI Hospital Attendant Association and PGI Sanitation Attendant Association.
Hon’ble Dr. Jagat Ram, Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh inaugurated the camp at Zakir Hall, PGI, Chandigarh by cutting ribbon and lighting lamp in kind presence of Sh. Ajay Dutta, Member of Institute Body & National General Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Sh. Kumar Abhay, Financial Adviser, Sh. Ummed Mathur, Registrar, PGI, Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Er. Narinder Malik, Executive Engineer and Sh. Maninder Singh Grewal, CEO, Swaraj Engines graced the occasion.
Sh. Pawan Kumar, Kshetria Sanghatan Mantri, Uttri Kshetar graced the occasion to boost morale of donors as Guest of Honour.
M/s Swaraj Engines, Mohali presented gifts to each blood donors. Each blood donor was given 1 liter desi ghee, 1 Thermos / Flask and one hand towel as token of love and appreciation by PGI Employees Union (NF).
The Blood Donation Camp was organized to celebrate 150thBlood Donations of Ashwani Kumar Munjal, President of Union. Sh. Pawan Kumar, Sh. Badri Parshad, Sh. Sanjay Thakur, Sh. Malkit Singh of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh honoured Ashwani Kumar Munjal by presenting shawl and bouquet in presence of Dr. Jagat Ram, Director, PGI.
Sh. Nand Kishore, Munjal Caterers sponsored lunch for 75 person of Organisers and Blood Bank Staff.
