Chandigarh, March 19:- About 250 teachers took part in the second day of a nine day refresher course on “Moral Values and Civic Duties in Education” today at the
Auditorium of Government Museum and Art Gallery, Sector 10.Director Public Instructions (S) Mr. S.K. Setia gave an overview of the nine day refresher course. He emphasized on the need to follow people who selflessly work for society.
“Wisdom is not the prerogative of the rich”, added Mr. Setia. About 250 teachers of different Government and Private schools of Chandigarh were benefited by the methodologies for inculcating moral values among present day students. Mrs. Neelam Dhamija from the Arya Mahila Sangthan spoke about the cultural pollution which is coming in Indian Society. The other speakers at the refresher course included Ms. Ishwar Handuja, Ms. Shweta, Ms. Kirti Sharma and Ms.Sudesh Gupta.
In the interactive session participants exchanged their experiences and impression with the speakers as well as with the audience.
