Barinder Saluja, Chandigarh, August 12:- The Chandigarh Administration has decided to award 14 Commendation Certificates to the public men and employees of the Administration and 6 Administrator’s Police Medal to Police personnel on Independence Day, 2010 function on August 15. The Certificates are given to them for rendering outstanding services in their respective fields of work.
On the occasion, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Warder, Model Jail, Chandigarh; Dr. Vidhur Bhalla, M.Ch. in Urologist, Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Sector 16; Sh. Sanjay Daniel Banerjee, Manager (Canteens), C/o CITCO, UT, Chandigarh; Sh. Rajiv Tiwari, District Treasury Officer, Central Treasury, Chandigarh; and Sh. Chaman Lal Gupta, Superintendent Grade-I, Chandigarh Administration will be awarded Commendation Certificates for their Public Services.
Mrs. Kanwal Jit Kaur, Honorary Director Nari Niketan, H.No. 1015, Sector 8C, Chandigarh; Ms. Neena Singh, Trustee, Bharat Prakash Foundation, H.No. 1601, Sector 36 D, Chandigarh; and Ms. Amarjit Kaur Dhillon, H.No. 1525, Sector 11 D, Chandigarh would also be given award for their exceptional works in Social Service.
Harpreet Singh, H.No. 1409/2, Phase 11, Mohali, Punjab; and Amandeep Singh, S/O Sh. Gurminder Singh, Kothi No. 859, Sector 38-A, Chandigarh have been selected for their outstanding performance in the field of Art and Culture.
Mr. Dev Dutt Sharma S/O Sh. Dasaundi Ram, H.No. 609, Village Kajheri, Chandigarh would be awarded for showing exemplary courage. Ms. Himani Sood D/O Sh. Dinesh Sood, R/O 940/2, Sector 41-A, Chandigarh; and Mr. Vipin Kumar S/O Sh. Ram Nath, H.No. 2/12 JC Water Supply Complex, Sector 26, Chandigarh have been selected for the award for their exceptional contribution in the field of Sports.
Dr. Devinder Pal Singh, H.No. 5692-A, Sector 38-West, Chandigarh will be awarded for his contribution in the area of Art and Craft.
On the occasion, Police personnel will also be awarded with Administrator’s Police Medal for distinguished/meritorious services on Independence Day 2010. SI (Now Inspector ORP) Parveen Kumar, No. 785/CHG; and Constable Kuldip Singh, No. 2764/CP will be awarded for distinguished services and SI Kulvir Kaur, No. 374/CHG; ASI Mahi Pal, No. 808/CHG; Ct. (Now HC ORP) Sat Pal, No. 2528/CP; and Ct. Kartar Singh, No. 2715/CP will be awarded for meritorious services.
