8 Nov : A court in Patna has fixed 14th November for hearing a petition seeking initiation of criminal proceedings against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray for the assault on railway job aspirants from north-India on 19th October in Mumbai.
The matter was listed for Saturday but could not be taken after which the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Patna decided that it would now be heard on 14th November.
An advocate Keshav Kumar Sinha had on 23rd October filed a complaint case against Raj and MNS spokesperson Shirish Parkar charging them with criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder and culpable homicide.
An examinee, Pawan Kumar of Nalanda district, was allegedly killed in Mumbai by MNS activists where he had gone to appear in railway recruitment board examination.
