PASIGHAT, July 1: Remembering the founder of Indian Medical Council, the legendary Bharat Ratna Dr Bidhan Chandra Ray on his birth-death anniversary, the East Siang Doctors Association observed Doctors Day today at the newly shifted library of the General Hospital, Pasighat.
To pay homage to the great physician and planner Dr. Roy and to mark the occasion special the Education Minister Bosiram Siram and medical fraternities participated in a tree plantation program conducted by Jt Director Health Service Dr. K. Lego in the hospital premises. Siram expressing satisfaction over the observance said lt. Dr. Roy was a good administrator one left an indelible mark in the history of Indian politics and medical profession.The minister took stock of various developments and undergoing and the Medical Supdt. Dr. Onik Moyong made aware of various hurdles and achievements of the hospital.
