PASIGHAT, July 2: To reform in school education system, the district education authority being organized a two days long training program on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in Siang Model School, Pasighat today. Gracing on the on the inaugural day function held today (July 2) as Chief Guest the DDSE Tani Talom stressed on effective implementation of CCE. A reliable evaluation based system in schools is felt necessary for the holistic assessment of a learner in scholastic, attitude, sport & games as well as in co-curricular activities, he added.Pleading on proper implementation of CCE Talom stated it would ensure corrective measures providing essential feedback of students boosting all-round growth of the learners. Furthermore, it would be an opportunity for schools to revamp the internal school assessments leading to enhanced teaching process, added the DDSE. He while encouraging the faculties claimed the new teaching methodology has the power to improve teaching skills and confidence with career advantages and make the teachers favourite amongst the student and societies.
Smty Y. Taloh and Deepa Sudheer secretary and principal respectively welcomed the efforts and extended their thanks to the education department for organizing the training Shri RD Singh and Biren Dutta both from DIET and CK Chowdhury and MG Omprakash teachers imparting the training as resource persons.
