INVESTIGATION REPORTS: PUTTING IN PUBLIC DOMAIN
Please recapitulate that the Central Information Commission has pleased to say in CIC/PB/A/2007/00527 : Shri. A. Ganeshan vs: Department of Posts, “The investigation reports with respect to corrupt practices should be put in public domain soon after the completion of the entire process of investigation and subsequent follow up actions, so that the efforts made for weeding out corruption in public affairs could be thoroughly scrutinised. The CPIO is ordered accordingly.”
Therefore you are requested accordingly to issue suitable directions to Central Bureau of Investigation/All Other Agencies/Authorities to strictly adhere to the above instructions. Meanwhile please acknowledge receipt and apprise me of the action taken in this regards.
