9 Aug : PAHAL (Public Awareness for Healthful Approach for Living) today Honored the surgeons who performed corrective surgeries for the surgical problems being faced by AIDS patients. So far AIDS patients were being kicked here and there if they were diagnosed with any surgical problems at Patna stated president of Bihar Network of People Living with HIV AIDS (BNP Plus), Mr Gyan Ranjan. Medical Director of PAHAL and noted AIDS specialist, Dr Diwakar Tejaswi stated it as a landmark positive development in medical arena of Patna and Bihar. Dr Tejaswi stated that there is zero percent chance of acquiring HIV during surgery if one takes care of Universal Works Precaution and if the viral load in AIDS patient is at undetectable level with Anti Retroviral Therapy. General Surgeon, Dr Manoj Kumar and Obstetrician Dr Sharika Roy were honored with memento of PAHAL for performing surgeries in AIDS patients and thereby helping them having new life.
