Chandigarh, December 25- Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that a Rs 500 crore programme had been introduced to strengthen health infrastructure in the state.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing the doctors after inaugurating community health services centre at Rohtak constructed by Rohtak branch of Indian Medical Association, said that Haryana had become a front runner state in education and health sectors. The budget of Health Department had been increased significantly by the state government.
Describing doctors as next to God, Mr Hooda said that it was the moral duty of the doctors to provide better health care to the society. Medicines should be practiced with missionary spirit otherwise their altruistic purpose was defeated. He announced to give a sum of Rs five lakh to Indian Medical Association. He also announced to give a sum of Rs 25 lakh for development of Jat Bhawan.
