Throughout the ages, teaching has been regarded as the noblest of all professions. Eminent scholars and scientists and noble laureates in the persons of Dr. C.V. Occupying such a coveted position as the ‘movers and shaker’ of humanity, teachers must continue to uphold this noble profession by maintaining the highest standards of personal integrity and honesty. Teachers should be mindful of the huge influence they have on their students, even beyond the class-rooms to many aspects of the personal lives of their students. With such a great responsibility, Teachers should strive to be impeccable role-models for their students, and prepare and mould them to help achieve our dreams of a better world.
On this auspicious day, I congratulate all the Teachers for having chosen this most dignified profession and pray that God will bless them with the strength to remain steadfast and committed to their profession and in upholding value oriented education to our future generation.”
