On a visit to Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday met common people and heard their local problems.
Sonia Gandhi, who was on a two-day visit to her Parliamentary constituency since Wednesday, met more than a thousand people and 37 delegations in the morning.
Later she inaugurated the Smile Train at Simhains hospital in the Rae Bareli city before chairing the meeting of the District Vigilance and Monitoring committee at the Collectorate.
She left for New Delhi after giving proposals for improved sewage and drinking water supply in the constituecy.
