Laddhu Uttar (Jalalabad)- November 12 : Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that Shiromani Akali Dal-Bhartiya janta Party would witness record victory in the Delhi assembly elections as Congress has already lost its ground and ‘AAP’ illusion faded with the time.
Replying to a media query after laying foundation stones of a number of development works worth Rs 47 crore here in his constituency, Mr. Badal said that the being alliance in two cultures and philosophies, SAD-BJP alliance is most natural alliance. He said that the alliance between these two parties has strengthened the communal harmony in the state and people’s confidence in the development oriented policies of alliance would keep it in power for next 25 years.
Mr. Badal said that after losing its political ground now Congress was trying its best to create an image that alliance was going through tough times. He said that Delhi polls would soon clear these clouds as alliance was all set to register record victory in this poll.
Replying another query regarding Manpreet Singh Badal’s statements published in media today, Mr. Badal said that Manpreet was not more than a paper tiger now. He said that reacting to statements of such leaders was nothing more than wastage of time.
While reviewing the development projects to be started Mr. Badal said that Punjab Government would sign MOUs (Memorandum of understanding) with cement companies to provide cement on control rates for public works. He ordered his special principal secretary Mr. Manvesh Singh Sidhu to initiate the tender process in this regard from November 15.
While addressing the gathering at arniwala, Mr. Badal has also announced to grant market committee status to arniwala.
Earlier, Mr. Badal laid foundation stones of development projects worth Rs. 47 crore including building for poly clinic and GPS building at Arniwala. To give a neat and clean look to villages, Mr. Badal started work on streets in villages Laddhu Uttar, Chak Jani Saar, Chak Rorra Wali, Chak Gulam Rasool, Dhanni Kartar Singh, Dhanni Sardool Singh, Palli Wala, Halim Wala, Ameen Gajj, Islamwala, Kandh Wala Hajar Khan, Mammu Khera, Mammu Khera Khatwa, Buraj Hanuman Garh and Jhughe kehar Singh .
