Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to make changes in his council of ministers tomorrow while a few new ministers is likely to be inducted tomorrow evening.
According to sources, the reshuffle may involve ten to twelve ministers including new inductions from congress and changes in portfolios of present ministers.Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday held consultations giving further boost to the speculation over a possible reshuffle of the Union Cabinet.The reshuffle exercise, second in six months, was finalised at a meeting between the Prime Minister and Congress President Sonia Gandhi this morning.
This was their fourth meeting in recent days. Resignations of A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran in connection with 2 G spectrum allocations and Mamta Banerjee becoming the Chief Minister of West Bengal has created vacancies in the cabinet.
There has been no official word on when exactly the Prime Minister would carry out the exercise.
