Jammu, Mar 2: The Darbar-E-Aliya-Younisa, Kupwara, Kashmir, today organised national level conference on relevance of sufisim and spirituality at Haji Lal Hussain Gujjar Colony, Channi Himmat.
The conference was held under the competent stewardship of Al-Haaj Baji-
Miyan-Muhammad-Maqbood-
Large number of devotees from various parts of the state and adjoining states like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana etc attended the conference.
During the congregation, religious scholars threw light upon multi-dimensional and multi-faceted Islamic teaching including Hadith, Suna fiqa and true Islamic ideology and siprit.
Simultaneously, scholars also emphasized upon the importance of spirituality in present day world and noted for materialism, loss of moral and ethical values, chaos and disorder.
During the address, Sajada-Nasheen Al-Haaj Peer-Miyan-Muhammad-Maqbood-
Naqashbandi focused on Mujahida-afsaani and Mujahida-Jismani and emphasised upon promotion and protection of humanity and human values.
Baji-Shaib also deliberated on the integration of different religions on the platform of Sufisim. He stressed that only Sufisim paves a way for the universal brotherhood, humanism and bringing the different communities closer.
He stressed that such conference should be held on regular basis so that the basic ethics of the humanity can be taught to new generation for inculcation of basic values of bringing the society closer in the struggling world.
The congregation ended with collective prayers for universal peace, progress and prosperity of state. He also prayed that the new upcoming government brings betterment of the people of state. Baji was also affirmative in his speech for upliftment of downtrodden and poor sections of the society.
Among some prominent faces who were present on the occasion included, MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Mir, MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohd Saroori, former minister, Taj Mohidin, ex- MLA Mohd Shareef Niaz, MLA Karnah, Raja Manzoor and Abdul Rahman Badhana, MLA, Abdul Gani Kholi and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion.
