Narendra Modi government completes two years at the Centre today; To mark the occasion as ‘vikas Parv’, PM Modi to address a public rally at Saharanpur today.
The rally to celebrate the second anniversary of the Union government will be a historic one, with BJP leaders working over time to draw around two lakh people from nearby districts.
Arrangements are being made on 250 bighas of land along the Sharanpur-Delhi road for the rally. special arrangements have been put in also to counter the scorching heat .
Meanwhile, in a gesture of goodwill, a farmer Raees Ahmad has offered eight acres of farming land for the rally. Ahmad had harvested his cane crop before ripening so that the rally can be conducted with ease there. He was offered compensation but refused to accept it.
The rally is expected to be attended by several BJP bigwigs including party’s national president Amit Shah.
With the launch of ‘Vijay Parv’ many BJP leaders and Ministers will begin going out among the people to tell them about the achievements of government.
The union ministers are expected to attend events across the state’s major cities a day after PM Modi addresses the Saharanpur rally.
A number of union ministers are also scheduled to attend programmes like press conferences and public meetings across the country on the anniversary day.

The launch of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Abhiyan was an attempt to create social awareness to save the girl child and to educate her. Several insurance schemes have been launched for ensuring social security.
The Crop Insurance Scheme (Fasal Bima Yojana)’s ambit was increased with an aim to improve the condition of farmers and Health Soil Card was also encouraged and promoted.
Efforts made by the Modi Government has led to rise in public expectations and the Government by bringing programmes and policies in every sector has made effort to cater to those expectations.
Now when the Government is completing two years, expectations and hopes have risen for the coming years.
