The BJP on Saturday slammed the opponents for misinformation on the Land Acquisition Bill at its National Executive meeting that concluded in Bengaluru.
The political resolution adopted by the meeting of National Executive of the BJP criticised the opposition parties for misinformation campaign on the Bill.
The resolution said the Government’s efforts are for empowering the farmers and the poor.
Union Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley told the media in Bengaluru that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stressed on further strengthening BJP organisation and adopting pro poor programmes.
Earlier, addressing a public rally, the Prime Minister highlighted government’s support to all states in area of development.
He also hit out at the opposition over the issue of black money.
He said that the government will leave no stone unturned to bring back every penny stashed abroad.
Promising that his government will fulfill the hopes and aspirations with which the masses voted, the Prime Minister said that his Government was committed to carrying out land reforms, for the benefit of farmers.
