BJP made a clean sweep in the Bangalore city corporation elections on Tuesday by winning over 100 wards out of 198 in the city corporation.
The Congress which is the ruling party in the state was defeated by BJP’s team in Bangalore, the three Union ministers Sadanand Gowda, Ananth Kumar and Venkaiah Naidu who campaigned in the city.
BJP also projected PM Modi’s schemes, Digital India, Skill Inida and Swachh Bharat mission transalted into action at every ward level.
In a tweet, the Prime Minster congratulated Karnataka BJP workers. He said, “Thank you Bengaluru! My gratitude to people and congratulations to Karnataka BJP leaders & workers for great BBMP election results.”
Ina another tweet, he said, “After MP & Rajasthan, BBMP poll results complete a hat-trick of wins for BJP. This is a win for politics of development & good governance.”
