There could soon be relief from rising petrol and diesel prices. BJP chief Amit Shah said that the govt is taking serious note of the issue with Petroleum Minister Dharmendra set to discuss the matter with heads of oil companies soon. He said the govt was working on a formula to ease fuel prices at the earliest.
The retail price of fuel is linked with the international market and the recent rise in petrol diesel is largely because the changing geopolitical situation. Blaming the international rise in crude oil prices on fresh US sanctions on Iran IOC Chairman Sanjeev Singh said the company cannot operate if prices don’t match global prices.
BJP Chief Amit Shah has said that the party’s Gram Swaraj Abhiyan has been a success..He said that this helped govt programmes reach the doorstep of the poorest of poor in 16,850 villages in a short period of 20 days..The BJP President said now the goal is to ensure 100% benefit of govt’s electrification and LPG supply initiatives to 65,000 villages.
The BJP has claimed massive success in the execution of the many government programs through its Gram Swaraj Abhiyan conducted between the 14th of April and May 5th. BJP chief Amit Shah said that 16,800 villages have received the direct benefits of 7 ambitious govt programs including gas and electricity connections. The Gram Swaraj Abhiyan is the first campaign since independence launched by any govt to attempt to resolve the problems of nearly 16,850 villages.
The BJP President has assured that the campaign will be taken further. The target is to supply gas and electricity to 65,000 of 115 districts by the 15th of August 2018. Shah said that instead of the poor seeking the govt it will now be the other way round.

— 26 lakh10, 506 people receive benefits of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
