In a tate-a-tate with media persons at the event, designer Swati Srivastava, from Delhi said that in partnering with Tatva she has brought her nationally acclaimed designs to Chandigarh. The bridal collection at Tatva, is specially crafted for confident demurred style divas. Design collections represent different moods and themes suiting women from different walk of life. The collection was ramped and displayed by leading models of Chandigarh, Jonsy & Sonia.
With a large collection at studios of Kimaya and Fuel in Mumbai, Elan Ahmedabad, Studio Saks chennai and other renowned studios of chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and New Delhi. Talking about the significance of collection, Srivastava added that today,s bride is confident’and well aware of her tastes. This collection is dedicated for all those brides who are blessed with the ability to carry their oomph factor and look elegant at the same time.
Shivani Mahajan, director Tatva, said Swati’s work is synonym to innovative cuts, superior quality fabrics (amalgamation of different textures) and impeccable finish.

The collection has been largely categorized into romantic therapy, floral symphony and zenith. Romantic therapy living upto its name is an ensemble of tunics, cocktail dresses, draped ghagra with corset blouse, suites and of dreamy colour palette such as coral pink, fuchsia, old rose pink, teal and wine red. The fabric used in this collection is nets, jacard nets, French lace and chiffon with dominant florat motifs. The floral symphony has bright colour palette of suites and tunics. The bold cotour palette has emerald green, teal blue, magenta, crimson and chocolate brown. Jacquard lace, velvet’s, brocade and Banarsi georgettes fabric has bene used in collection decked with surface ornamentation of resham embroidery, katdana and crystals.
Zenith is the most impressive collection stepping right out of the Mughal Era. Having royal and classic silhouette it has motifs are inspired from Mughal architecture and filled with zardozi, aari, tikki, dori and gota work. The entire Mughal period is wrapped in colours of yellow, pink, peach, grey blue with green and gold.
