Feb 22 :The Congress will start the seat sharing talks with allies for the upcoming general elections after 26th of this month, when the curtains for the 14th Lok Sabha will be drawn.
Party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed said that the talks will be carried out by concerned AICC General Secretaries, PCC chiefs and other senior party leaders. He said, talks with the allies will be smooth, when there will be no pressure on the Party in parliament. Our correspondent reports that Congress Party’s decision not to go for a national alliance and instead go for state specific tie-ups has not gone well with some of its allies and supporting parties which have been drawing up different strategies.
