By Madhup. Chandigarh, 13th July: For raising awareness about clean environment, EARTH AID-2011 was announced yesterday in the city. The leading Miss Universe and Miss World title holder Beauty Queens from 8 countries including Miss Sweden Renate Cerljen, Miss Iceland Fanney Ingvarsdottir, Miss Slovena Sandra Adams, Miss Mongolia Gantogoo Nicole, Miss Serbia Lidija Kocic, Miss Bosnia Emma Golijanin, Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan and Miss Kosovo Morena Taraku are participating for the support of this cause. This road show will commence this November from, Chandigarh. Several other renowned world celebrities like Hair Stylist Dar and Ace Designer, Anna Singh and Micky Contractor will also be a part of this awareness campaign. In association with Healthy Kids Happy Kids foundation, they aims to take up a challenge to go loud thereby making every one responsible towards creating a safe and healthy earth.
While addressing the event, Founder of Healthy Kids Happy Kids Foundation, Mr Satish Sikha said, “To raise awareness about this noble cause and gather support for this campaign, we aim to organize a unique road show with international and national celebrities.”
Elaborating the future vision of the foundation, he added that, “We are establishing a ‘Tapovan’ where anyone is welcome to come and stay to promote a healthy and happy life. All accommodations, food and services at the Tapovan will be free of cost. A total of 14 child specialists from USA, Canada, France, Germany, UK and Sweden have confirmed. The organization is committed in helping and healing as many sick, challenged, or disabled children as possible.”
“Doctors from different countries will be coming to India for one month each to stay at the ‘Tapovan’ and treat children for free. So far 14 doctors who are children’s specialists from USA, Canada, France, Germany, UK, and Sweden have confirmed. Healthy Kids Happy Kids Foundation is committed tohelping and healing as many sick, challenged, or disabled children as possible” he said.
The event will also showcase the world’s longest Eco hand woven silk fabric which was first showcased at Arctic Ocean, North Pole and bears the messages from celebrities and dignitaries from over 72 countries. A Charity Fund-raising celebrity dinner to raise the awareness of taking care of children, to provide medical assistance to them and for the upliftment of under privileged children will also be an attraction of the month long event.
