Best Quality in you: It is has to be my patience. It’s difficult for me to get angry with people and I usually give people a long rope before they rattle me.
Did you always want to be an actor?
No… I was interested in interior designing. After doing one commercial ad, my mother told me that I should participate in Mr. North contest. I won it luckily and was flooded with modeling offers. It was at this stage that I thought about a career in the entertainment industry.
If not an actor, you would be: An interior designer, without a doubt!
Favorite Hobbies: I unwind with music .. I enjoy writing stories as it’s a good outlet for my imagination and I like describing life through my paintings.
Favorite Ghar Ka Khana: Mutter Paneer and Butter Nan.
What brings a smile on your face instantly: Ice cream and sweets, it’s sad I have to avoid them completely to keep up my fitness levels.
Qualities you look for in your ideal mate: I am lucky to have already found her in my beautiful wife Pari!
Who are your industry friends?
Kinshuk Mahajan and Karan Kundra. We had a blast on the sets of a reality show we did together. We bonded over Punjabi language and food. I am also extremely fond of Sara Khan, my co-star in Ram Milaayi Jodi. We have a lot in common and just can’t stop chatting away with each other. When we shoot together, we end up bonding so much that we forget about time and that we have to return to our respective homes.
A dream: To act with Sushmita Sen. I think she is an embodiment of the complete Indian woman – beautiful, strong and intelligent!
Favourite film stars
I am a huge fan of Salman Khan. He is a very nice human being and has a very charismatic personality.
Do you idolize anyone?
My mother. She is one of the most amazing women I know!
Fashion is: For me, fashion is comfort… I wear only what I am comfortable in. You cannot be fashionable if you are uncomfortable in what you are wearing!
Favorite Outfit: Jeans that fit me snug, casual t-shirts usually coupled up with a cool jacket. I think the look I carry in Ram Milaayi Jodi has been styled impeccably. Some of the clothes I’ve used are from my personal collection.
Who chooses your clothes? I do it personally. I don’t like people choosing clothes for me. I think everyone ought to have their own personal sense of style … you can’t just wear something someone has given you, without attention to considerations such as fit, textures, colors and the garment’s overall compatibility with your persona.
Do you wear accessories? I do not wear many accessories. But yes, sometimes I do give in to ear studs, rings and kadas.
Do you follow any brands? I mostly wear designer clothes and I just love wearing Versace

Most expensive buy: My Omega watch worth Rs 3.5 lakhs.
Favourite designer: Manish Malhotra and Rohit Verma. They have very nice sensibilities about men’s dressing.
Must-have in your wallet: My ATM cards and my gym card because I am a fitness freak and I cannot go even a day without working out.
Favourite perfume: Gucci because it’s so intense!
