The oomph quotient on the stage of Vaseline Zee Rishtey Awards 2011 got a new high when two of television industry’s hottest women, Urvashi Dholakia and Kashmira Shah walked in to present awards to the ‘Most Mastikhor Actor’ and the ‘Best Khalnayak on Zee TV’.
All went fine with both engaging in casual banter about presenting the awards but unscripted masti took over the minute Urvashi uttered, “Kashmira….” She was rudely interrupted by Kashmira who retorted, “It’s not Kashmira… It’s Cash Mira…” The look on Urvashi’s face was a priceless!!! Without further ado, she clarified saying, “Kashmira …Ohh! Sorry Cash Mira… ladies and gentlemen please note – its Cash Mira and not Kashmira…”
Urvashi has a penchant to play a vamp on screen but rub her the wrong way and she will revert with a mouthful. She exemplified this fact when she looked at Kashmira and added, “With your permission Cash Mira (being extra emphatic on the word CASH), can we proceed with the nominations for the next award…!” And the crowd was in splits by then watching Kashmira give Urvashi the hard look!
It didn’t end here…Before announcing the winner of the ‘Best Khalnayak’ award, Urvashi asked Kashmira, “Isn’t it good just to be bad on screen?”….only to have Kashmira say, “I love being bad off screen too… It pays me a lot of money!!!” Seems like the award categories were tailor made for the two of them and not the actors who actually took home the awards. The crowd loved it and we are sure television audiences would also love to see these two hot women of our television industry break into an impromptu catfight on stage.
