Chandigarh, 20th November 2021: A multi-talented girl Pranjulla Singh, who is a poetess, classical dancer & actor has been honoured with ‘Global Talent Award’ by the Government of United Kingdom (U.K.). The award entitles her a ‘Pre-Settlement Visa’ to stay in England for a period of 5 years, during which she can work, run a business and work as a freelance artist.
The U.K. government confer 500 artists worldwide with this award every year, with the sole objective of drawing talents to their country. Pranjulla Singh, who happens to be the daughter of Neeru Singh, Director of Punjabi Akademi, Government of Madhya Pradesh, has been awarded this award under the Arts & Culture category for the current year. She did her Bachelor’s in Business Studies from Pondicherry University and later Master’s Creative Industries Management from the University of London. She has been working with INTACH (Indian National Trust for Arst & Cultural Heritage) since 2016.
Pranjulla Singh expressed her pleasure on being conferred this award and said that her aim is to promote the Indian Arts & Culture at the global level. She is a trained Kathak dancer and a theatre artist. As a poet, two of her books have already been published, ‘Sparkle’ & ‘Romance with Lockdown’. She was recently awarded with the ‘Arts Illustrated and Mojarto’ by NDTV. She was among the top 25 young leaders from across the country selected to attend the World Governance Expedition in Russia.
