Rashmi Rithi, is a volume of poetry composed by national poet Mr. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar which is presented to you as theatrical treat. The play is based on the great archer Karan and his life struggles.
Play Starts with Arjun showing his skills in the war field and everyone being impressed by him, but suddenly another warrior comes named Karan and challenges Arjun. Karan being of lower caste was insulted and humiliated despite being a perfect competitor for Arjun.
Here as being very impressed by the skills and valor of Karna, Duryodhan declares him king of a state officially, this marks the beginning of their friendship.
The drama also includes how he got trained from God Parshuram by telling him that I am a Brahmin Kumar, and learned all fights techniques and became one of the furious warriors of all time. But his guru Parshuram on finding out the truth cursed him that he will lost his powers when he will require them the most
In Mahabharata on insisted by Krishna to join Pandavas, being fooled by Indra who took away his Kawach and Kundal, an emotional effort by Kunti, all this was done so that Karan doesn’t participate in this war, but he came and displayed his courage and valor to support his friend Duryodhan.
At the end Karan fights with great courage and bravery in the war field, to return the favors, his friend Duryodhan has done for him and also to justify his friendship.
