By Madhup , Chandigarh : Actor Arshad Warsi who plays a goon in Vishal Bhardwaj Ishqiya admits without being arrogant that it was a cake walk for him. He said, “Most of the actors make a big deal about it but I really think you are an actor and you are supposed to play different roles. It’s your job.” While elaborating about his role he adds, “It’s a question of figuring out a few things that how do people speak in Bhopal. If I had told to play a French or Italian character I would have to work a little bit because I am not so familiar with it. Being in India if you tell me to play a Maharashtrian, Gujarati, Bhopali or Goan I can do it with ease because I know who they are.”
“The actor claims that acting is a question of observation and it’s not rocket science. I have a friend from Bhopal who told me few weird nuances. Then there was a language guy on the sets who helped with the accent” he said.
