July, 17, 2016 : Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Central Instrumentation Labortory, with state of the art facilities, has been established at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. The newly constructed building of the laboratory was inaugurated by Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister of Haryana today. Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma said on this occasion that job-oriented education is the need of ours and all our teachers should make their students not only educated but self-dependant also. Further, the Non-teaching Employees should do hard work to take their institutions on higher international standards. Education Minister assured that all possible help will be provided to this University.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University thanked the Education Minister and said that this University is touching new heights in the field of Science and Technology. He said that this laboratory will be highly beneficial for the teachers, researchers and students of the University and orher research institutions of this region. All nearby institutions also can take research benefits of this laboratory. Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister and Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor planted plant in front of the newly constructed laboratory building. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar presented a memento to the Education Minister. Dr. Anil Kumar Pundir, Registrar of the University and other senior functionaries of the University were also present on the occasion. The approximate cost on construction of the building is Rs.182.00 lakhs and its area is 850 Sqms.
