The India Post,Chandigarh, 1 December, 2008 ‘Schools: Partners for the Future’ is a global initiative of the German Foreign Ministry aiming at building and developing a network of at least 1000 partner school worldwide. The Goethe Institute will select about 500 schools for the network, 40 of which will be in India . The aim of the project is to promote young people’s interest in and enthusiasm for modern day Germany and German society.
Within the framework of the initiative the young group ‘Nulltarif’ is travelling through South Asia to perform at school.‘Nulltarif’ is a young and upcoming Rock band from the Stuttgart area. They describe their own music as ‘poppy punk rock with German lyrics’. The four musicians have already played at over 200 concerts in Germany and abroad and win hearts wherever they are given an electric connection for their instruments. They have received numerous awards for their music.
Sometimes melancholic, on other times humorous, and with a pinch of self-irony, Nulltarif set the stage on fire with each performance.
With Jules (Vocals, Guitar), Danny (Vocal, Guitar), Denis (Vocal, Bass) Tobi (Drums) they have stayed true to their music over the years while always working on new material. They are performing Rock Band on the Campus on 3rd December, 2008 at 5.30 p.m. at English Auditorium, PU in Collaboration with Department of German, Panjab University , Chandigarh .
