Jagpreet Singh Sandhu,Chandigarh, November 12 : More competitions and many participants with larger audience and loud noises, the 2nd day of PEC FEST 2011 was even bigger at Chandigarh on Saturday.
The seond day of the PEC fest commenced with literary events like crosswords, conventional debate, Wordict – word puzzle, spell bee, etc. The day also saw students showcasing their artistic talent in a rock band competition as well as crotchet, a solo singing competition. The evening started with the final of EDC’s major cash cow competition called the Apprentice, which was an entrepreneur event, where the participants competed against each other in a series of rounds to prove their mettle.
A “Hip-hop Hustle” was also organised in the evening where participants performed to showcase their dance moves and acrobatic skills in front of a enormous audience.
The star night in the evening was conducted by the famous rock band “Raeth” coming from across the border to play and ravish the audience with their hit songs. The melodious performance of the band enchanted the students with enthusiasm and joy. The night ended with the filming of a movie at the college’s auditorium.
The three-day fest will conclude on sunday with the performance of a Punjabi singer “ Gippy Grewal “.
