The full team of the forthcoming Punjabi film “Pure Punjabi” visited Desh Bhagat Institute of Management & Computer Sciences and came face to face with the management, teachers and students of the institute. Dr. Zora Singh, Chairman, Smt. Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson & Dr. Shalini Gupta, Director General of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes gave a warm welcome to the team and hoped that this film is an attempt to preserve and promote Punjabi language, culture and heritage. They appreciated the venture saying that such Punjabi films are adhering to high quality and students should get inspiration from the artists to make their future bright. On this occasion, the artists of the film presented their talent and appealed to the students to be good human beings, remain away from narcotics and intoxicants and develop the qualities of good citizens.
The team was welcomed with flowers and presented a trophy as token of love and appreciation. The audience in large numbers enjoyed this event. The Director of the film Mr. Munish Sharma said that the film will be released on 13th January on the auspicious Lohri festival in India as well as abroad. He disclosed that along with effective role of the popular film personalities of Punjabi filmdom, the popular stage and television stars Mr. Karan Kundra and Ms. Driti Sangram will appear as Hero and heroine. Besides, Nav Bajwa, Manjot Singh, Zorawar Singh, Sangram Singh and some other artists have played an important role in this film. On this occasion, Karan Kundra said that the film is based on students life and an effort has been made to promote Punjabi culture in this film.
