Chandigarh : Career Development and Guidance Centre (CDGC) , PEC is conducting GATE 2018 training courses from 28th January,2018 onwards under TEQIP-III Zone as a mandatory examination for final year PEC students who have applied for GATE. Out of several GATE coaching institutes, Compete India Zone from Chandigarh qualified to conduct GATE Workshops. CDGC, PEC offers all round career guidance to its students to decide & pursue their dream careers in different sectors. The whole placement process is executed by this centre. The workshop is being conducted considering the need of GATE training for the final year students from all engineering branches i.e., Aerospace, Computer Science, Mechanical, Materials & Metallurgy and Production for their GATE Examination to be held on 3rd& 4th Feb’2018 and for Civil, Electrical and Electronics & Communications to be held on 10th& 11th Feb’2018 .
The centre also arranges Career Talks, Soft Skill Development workshops and other Career oriented workshops to help students prepare for their higher studies. This activity is being done keeping in mind the sole interests of students and with an endeavor to match the career aspirations of the students who want to pursue higher studies. The workshop intends to act as giving an opportunity for last revisions followed by MOCK Test . The workshops are being closely monitored to ensure that they are useful to our students and their time is effectively utilized. “We will be organizing many such workshops so that we are able to help students achieve their dream careers”, said Dr. Divya Bansal, Head CDGC.
The entire team of faculty is from IITs like IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi and other non-tech Professors with more than 20 years of experience, said Mr. Akshaye Raj Aggarwal (Civil), MTech, IIT Roorkee Director Compete India Zone.
