MOHD MAJID MALIK , BHADERWAH : People not only in Bhaderwah but also in Chenab valley has demanded that Bhaderwah campus of Jammu University be transformed into fully fledged hill University keeping in view the geographical location and atmosphere of the Chenab valley keeping in view the merit of the campus as other places UGC had already started campuses .Many Educationist ,Intellectuals ,civil society members and Political leaders here in Bhaderwah feel government is delaying to transform the Bhaderwah campus into a fully fledged university and thereby denying them facilities of University as in the year 2005 when President of India Pratibha Devi Singh Patel at that time inaugurated the campus she assured that with in a short span of time it deserve full fledged University as it not only connects Kashmir via Sinthan or Dessa but also connects Jammu ,Kathua and another state Himichal Pradesh from where students can easily arrived higher for excellence education keeping in view the congenial atmosphere of the area . Not only all infrastructure is also available with the authorities concerned included thousands Kanls of land is also at their disposal .Many people and students are also demanding that their institution be completely delinked from the University of Jammu so that it can be moderating examinations independently and on the pattern of BGSB or VD University campus should be declared full fledged for whole Chenab region like other parts of the state .People here also think and opinion that till this campus will not be upgraded some local Educationist of Intellectual should be made Rector of the campus as he knows the topography and difficulties of the local students of Chenab valley and quota in various courses within Bhaderwah campus should be increased for whole Chenab region . It is notable to mention here that there are many intellectuals and educationists who can look after the affairs of campus easily included Prof Kamashwer , Prof Javeed Khateeb , Prof Subash , Dr Mohd Iqbal Zargar , N D Wani , Fareed Ahmed Fareed , Zaheer Abas , Dr Shafqet Rafeqi and others
