is organizing “XIV Blood Donation Camp” on Wednesday, 19th March 2008 at U.I.E.T. Building, South Campus, Sector 25, Chandigarh in collaboration with State Bank of India, Sector 14 Branch and the Coca Cola.
Mr. Justice Mahesh Grover, Punjab & Haryana High Court will inaugurate this Blood Donation Camp at 9.00 a.m. by lighting the ceremonial lamp and Prof. R.C. Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, P.U. will preside over the inaugural function.
The Panjab Univesity Non-Teaching Employees’ Federation is organizing this Campus in the series of functions being organized on account of ‘Diamond Jubilee Year Celebrations’ of the University. The Blood donated in the Camp facilitate the patients who come to the P.G.I. for their treatment and save them from the clutches of the ‘professional blood donors’. In the previous Blood Donation Camp, more than 250 units were collected. We hope, this year more voluntary donors will come forward for this noble cause.
The Prize Distribution Function shall be presided over by Mr. Justice M.M.
