CHANDIGARH, March 13, 2008: University, as part of celebration of its Diamond Jubilee year has, as a good will gesture, granted extension of Special Chance
to all such candidates who despite of availing all the admissible chances for the examinations held between April 1980 and April 2007 including Diamond Jubilee Chance could not clear their compartment/reappear (sessional/external) and have not availed extension of Special Chance in September 2007. The willing candidates may submit to the University their Examination Forms with the following fee structure:-
(a) For Professional Courses
(i) Rs.5000/- upto two semesters (for one paper) plus Rs.I000/- for each extra paper.
(ii) Rs.I0,000/- for more than two semesters (for one paper per semester) + Rs.1000/- for each extra paper.
(b) For Non-Professional Courses
(iii) Rs.3150/- for all courses other than Professional Courses.
latest by March 24, 2008 or not later than seven working days before the
commencement
of respective examinations whichever is later for appearing in the ensuing
annual Examinations April 2008.
The Examinations will be held as per current syllabus in force. Kindly
publish this news in the Main Edition of your respective newspaper keeping
in view the interest of the students, according to the Joint Controller of
Examinations, P.U.
