In order to fill the still lying vacant seats for the EWS in the private schools under the RTE Act, NSUI is organising a camp in front of Vivek High School on the 23rd April, 2013, where in the EWS students are being called upon with their relevant documents in order to assist them in filing fresh applications.
In this regard, a team of social workers lead by Sunny Mehta, NSUI, National Delegate, went out on yet another awareness rally at Dadu Majra, Dhanas and Sector 38 colony, with the slogan “padhega India tabhi to badhega India”. They reached out to almost 2000 people instilling in them great fervour and enthusiasm to educate their children.
Akshay Bansal said that their rally attracted a large mob of which school children formed a large number. Further, according to Jatinder Singh the head of the colonies showed a positive response and helped them in the dissemination of information.
“The students are urged to come forward with their documents at the camp to procure their rightful seats that were previously being blatantly denied to the EWS and the disadvantaged and have now been stayed from conversion with the arduous efforts of the NSUI team” said Mehta.
